It's almost Christmas and the summer holidays seem a long time ago so where to go to get into the festive spirit?

So despite airline strikes, EuroStar breakdowns and the worse weather in 20 years (according to the BBC) we head off to Berlin for a few days.

Upon arrival we soon learn that MINUS 21 degrees is colder than you expect but a few cups of Glühwein later and things are looking good although next time we must go somewhere a bit warmer.
